Our Story

The story starts with a little girl who always wanted to make money, and little did she know she had a knack for entrepreneurship and the business industry. I mean, it was literally in her blood. Fast forward 15 years — I am that little girl, just not so little anymore.

Throughout my childhood, I was constantly selling anything I could, whether it was drawings, crafts, or homemade jewelry, and I knew how to market myself. All I had to do was flash my big blue eyes and my crazy smile, and my family and family friends were handing over their money.

Throughout my high school career — if you could call it that with the number of absences I had — I was very dedicated to my business classes and my trades classes, but we’re here to focus on the business side. My business teachers loved me, for the most part, I’d like to think. Heck, ask Mrs. DiPalo — she would tell you I was her favourite! I was always skipping other classes to hang out with her, and she was the only teacher who could get me to focus.

I excelled in business, with all of my grades steadily above an 85, which, if you knew me in high school, you should’ve just given me the Governor General’s Academic Medal — most notably with a 99% in entrepreneurship. Why didn’t I get that 100%? It was probably a spelling error, to be honest…

After I graduated with a Red Seal in business, if you haven’t picked that up by now, I went straight to Sheridan College in Mississauga. BIG MISTAKE! I absolutely despised it. It didn’t fit my schedule, I couldn’t work, and I didn’t relate to anyone who was going to school there. So I took some time off, despite my parents’ feelings about that, and I found Athabasca University, where I currently complete online courses to obtain my Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing.

While going to school, I wanted to do something that I loved, which, for everyone’s information, was not administrative work. So I started offering to set up social media accounts, my first being Ebdon Racing. I first built the website, then created an Instagram, then TikTok, and then Facebook. TikTok, most notably, blew up — as TikTok does — with a whopping 5,000 followers in less than six months.

Then I mentioned that the Ontario Equine Education and Employment Program needed a social media presence, and well, I manage that. Then Inglewood Pumps wanted full control over their website and to revamp it; they also wanted a social media presence. So there was my next project. Then Herdy Co. came to me wanting to launch their brand, so that was a whole package — website, social media, everything!

From there, I’ve done little projects here and there for people and businesses while still managing some of the previously mentioned ones. It’s time for me to take control of mine.

Thank you for being a part of this journey — and don’t get left in the dust.
